This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your ResumeFixer AI subscription and our refund policy. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and our procedures.
By subscribing to our paid plans or purchasing top-ups, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. This policy applies to all subscription plans (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and to one-time top-up purchases.
1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees or penalties for cancelling your subscription.
Important: Cancelling your subscription will stop future billing renewals, but you will retain access to your plan’s features and remaining optimisations until the end of your current billing period.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to your plan’s features and any remaining optimisations until your subscription period expires.
2. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription using one of the following methods:
Method 1: Email Cancellation

Please include your account email address in your cancellation request. We will process your cancellation within 2-3 business days and send you a confirmation email.
Method 2: Account Settings
If available, you may cancel your subscription directly through your account settings page. Look for the "Subscription" or "Billing" section in your account dashboard.
Note: To ensure your cancellation is processed before your next billing cycle, please submit your cancellation request at least 48 hours before your renewal date.
3. Effect of Cancellation
3.1 Access After Cancellation
After you cancel your subscription:
- You will retain access to your plan and any remaining optimisations until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made to your payment method
- Your subscription will not automatically renew
- At the end of your billing period, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free tier
3.2 Data Retention
Your account data, usage history, and account information will be retained according to our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
3.3 Re-subscription
You can re-subscribe to a paid plan at any time. Your previous usage data and account information will be restored when you re-subscribe.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 General Refund Policy
All subscription fees are billed in advance for the selected billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, or annual). As a general policy, we do not issue refunds for:
- Partially used subscription periods
- Unused portions of your subscription
- Change of mind or dissatisfaction with the service
- Cancellations made after the billing period has started
4.2 Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If you experience significant technical problems that prevent you from using the service, and we are unable to resolve them within a reasonable timeframe
- Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a billing error on our part
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription period
- Legal Requirements: As required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction
4.3 Top-ups (One-Time Purchases)
Top-ups are one-time purchases that add extra optimisations to your current billing period. They do not extend your plan end date. Top-ups are generally non-refundable once purchased. Any unused top-up optimisations are discarded when your subscription renews or is cancelled—they do not roll over.
4.4 Refund Request Process

- Your account email address
- Date of subscription purchase
- Reason for refund request
- Any relevant documentation or details
We will review your request and respond within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10-14 business days.
4.5 Pro-Rated Refunds
Pro-rated refunds are generally not available. If a refund is approved, it will be calculated based on the specific circumstances and may not be pro-rated to the exact day of cancellation.
Important: Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet our refund criteria or are made in bad faith.
5. Billing Cycles and Renewals
5.1 Billing Cycles
Paid plans are available in the following billing cycles:
- Monthly: Billed every 30 days
- Quarterly: Billed every 90 days
- Annual: Billed every 365 days
All subscriptions are billed in advance at the beginning of each billing cycle.
5.2 Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You will be charged the same subscription fee for the next billing cycle.
We will send you a reminder email before your subscription renews. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
5.3 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to process the payment again. If payment continues to fail:
- Your subscription may be suspended
- You will be notified via email
- Your account will be downgraded to Free tier after a grace period
- You may need to update your payment method to restore paid plan access
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you dispute a charge with your payment provider (chargeback), we will investigate the dispute. Please contact us first at support@top10impact.com before initiating a chargeback, as we may be able to resolve the issue directly.
Important: Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension or termination. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks that we believe are invalid.
If you have concerns about a charge, please contact us first. We are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and promptly.
7. Free Tier
The Free tier does not require payment and therefore does not involve cancellation or refunds. Free tier users:
- Receive one optimisation total (lifetime) for full resume generation
- Can still run ATS score checks and view feedback after that; full optimised resume generation requires upgrading
- Can upgrade to a paid plan at any time
- Can delete their account at any time without any cancellation process
If you are on the Free tier and wish to stop using the service, you can simply stop using it or delete your account through your account settings or by contacting us.
